ABOUT

I’m Susie, a Sleep Coach and mother to two awesome little humans.
I've been helping families get more sleep since 2020. My sleep philosophy is simple – for a happy, healthy home everyone in the family needs to be getting a good night’s sleep. You can’t be the parent you want to be if you’re exhausted. Your little one can’t be happy, learning and exploring all day if they’re overtired. As an OCN Level 6 Certified Holistic Sleep Coach I know that there are ways we can foster great sleep habits while supporting and comforting our children every step of the way.

For the first six months of my daughter's life she woke me up every three hours on the dot. At six months we knew something had to change, we were all exhausted! We introduced a sleep support programme which gave her the skills she needed to sleep independently and she slept through for the first time ever on night five and has continued to do so ever since. I love sharing these techniques with families, helping little ones become great sleepers and (added bonus!) giving parents their evenings back.
MY APPROACH
Every family is unique, this isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ sleep solution. I’ll take the time to get to know you, your family and your little one, to understand your style as parents and the sleep challenges you’re currently facing. Then we can put in place a bespoke Positive Sleep Plan which will help you achieve your sleep goals as smoothly as possible. We'll use the science of infant sleep to help us work in synch with your little one's circadian rhythm and developmental ability, and we'll always respect parental intuition, if something doesn’t feel right for you then we come up with a different strategy. We will work together to make sure you feel 100% confident and comfortable with your sleep support process.
Our aim is to achieve age appropriate sleep goals, smooth bed times, consolidated night sleep and good day time naps. If you want to drop night feeds or put your little one into their own room we can discuss if it’s the right time for that and agree on the best way to go about it with minimal disruption to everyone’s sleep. By the time we’ve finished your support period you’ll have all the tips you need to keep your little one on the right track for a good night’s sleep.

my commitment to you
It’s a big responsibility to be trusted to help a family with their little one’s sleep and I take that very seriously. If I don’t think I can help, or feel that for some reason I might not be the right fit for your family, I’ll let you know straight away and point you in the direction of someone who is better placed to support you. But rest assured this doesn’t happen very often!

I’ll always do my best to make sure you understand not just what we are doing but why we implement the changes we make, explaining the science behind infant sleep to make sure that you are comfortable with any suggestions every step of the way. We will not make arbitrary decisions about your child’s sleep, we will make sure that we respect their needs, their developmental schedule and their biological ability enabling us to make the right changes to their sleep schedules when they (and you!) are ready.

Families come in all shapes and sizes; I do my best to use language which is inclusive to everyone but if you spot somewhere I could be doing better please let me know.
